Congressman Brett Guthrie Visits GCIS

On March 31, 2014, GCIS 5th grade students welcomed Congressman Brett Guthrie to their school.  Congressman Guthrie spoke to the students about the separation of powers in the federal government.  The students had been studying the topic and Congressman Guthrie was very informative and gave the students "real life" examples on how the government functions.
